3D printing metal

The possibility of 3d printing in metal has made many high-tech and technically advanced industries make great progress in their fields. What we see now is that more and more small high-tech companies are using 3d printing in metal and the orders are increasing year after year. 3d printing of metal is in many cases a cost-effective alternative to traditional machining and especially when it comes to components in the smaller order of magnitude and with high complexity. Compared to traditional manufacturing, complexity costs nothing in 3d printing, but what primarily drives the price is the size of the component. Having said that, there are many different types of 3d printing and we at Top3D have many of them. See our guide here.

Processes and materials for 3D printing in metal

SLS PA12

For those parts of the metal details that need extra high accuracy, we offer machining in high-tech equipment. This can be, for example, threading holes, reaming or creating perfect meetings between different details in an assembly.

Varnishing

We offer painting of details in different quality levels, which range from simple spray painting to high-gloss and matt A-surfaces of the highest quality.

Polishing

We offer electropolishing for our stainless steels and mechanical polishing enables the polishing of remaining metal alloys.
